About
between the lapels is a notebook on classic menswear, written from the point of view of someone who likes tailoring that doesn't try too hard.
The idea is simple: relaxed tailoring, worn every day. Camel coats over soft knits, flannel trousers, leather gloves, a scarf that has seen a few winters. Less costume, more wardrobe.
What you'll find here
- Everyday outfits. What I wear, and why the pieces work together.
- Cloth and cut. Notes on fabrics, constructions and the small details that separate a good coat from a merely expensive one.
- Care. How to brush, store and repair what you own, so it lasts.

Most of the daily outfits live on Instagram. This journal is where the longer thoughts end up.
